Yeah, Paul, who's around here intermittently, "ain't no hack either"...i was turned onto him via CAN's own Kim Mitchell's Soda & All We Are [mid/late 80s radio-rock tunes]...check him out on that PIT LA, CA VHS w that other monster Rick Gratton. Just Stooopit.
There's an absolutely hilarious point on there during one of Gratton's last solo comps in a tune where PDL sneaks up behind RG, grabs the stricks out of his hands, throws them on the stage floor, & wrestles RG outta the d chair...& exclaims, "how can ANYONE play like that?!" They both then proceed to shred some final trades...

I've said it b4, but Novak absolutely KILLS on CCEB2-Paint the World [AWA CC's Time Warp, Bob Berg's Another Standard, & Holdsworth's 16 Men of Tain]. If anyone doesn't have these, GET THEM. NOW. ESP CCEB2-PTW. [img]eek.gif[/img]

I saw GN w CCEB2 live back right aft PTW came out...all eyes were on him, & he "stole" the show. Whut. Look the H out.
